San Fransisco based Advertising Agency Publicis & Hal Riney enlisted the award-winning director Olivier Gondry, along with artist Su Blackwell, to create an engaging stop motion animation for Beringer Vineyards. If you don’t know them by name, you’ll definitely know them by their animation. Under the direction of Marc Craste, Studio aka have created enchanting CG animations for The National Lottery’s ‘Big Win’ ad and the Lloyds TSB ‘For the Journey’ campaign. Studio aka won a BAFTA in 2004 for their Short Film ‘Jo Jo in the Stars’ – a hauntingly beautiful tale of love, sacrifice and the green-eyed monster.

First there were 250,000 luminous balls bouncing down the streets of San Francisco. Then 70,000 litres of paint exploded over an empty Glasgow council estate. This was followed by 190 plasticine bunnies hopping around New York. Now, the fourth TV spot for the Sony campaign has arrived in the form of 120 million gallons of foam cascading over downtown Miami. The campaign, created by ad agency Fallon, is truly like no other.
